In John chapter 10 verse 11 Jesus says, "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep".

In His great love, all through the ages, God spoke through His prophets and leaders to lead people to repent and turn away from their ways. When nothing helped, He sent His Son Jesus into this world to shed His blood upon the cross to pay the price for our transgressions so that by placing our faith upon Him we may have eternal life.

In Romans 6:23 we see “for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord”. In Romans 8:2 we see "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death".
Bible tells us “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23. Just take a look around you and before long you can verify the truth of this passage.

After sin came into the world, we chose to go our own way and live life of sinfulness in separation from the Holy God. We are born in sin and, without any external influence or instruction, we begin to steal, lie, and covet things that do not belong to us. Where do all these things come from? Left unchecked, these habits can grow to criminal consequences, and eternal separateness from God.
If you want to experience this eternal personal relationship with God and want to accept His free gift of forgiveness of your sins and receive the assurance of salvation, then I invite you to tell this to God in your own words, or pray this simple prayer;

Father in heaven,
I thank you for loving me so much that you sent your only begotten son Jesus into the world to die for my sins. I accept my sinfulness and want to turn away from the life I have been leading. I ask that you will forgive my sins for the sake of your son Jesus and the price that He paid upon the cross.

I receive Jesus as my personal saviour and promise to live as a new creation in Lord Jesus.

Thank you for loving me first and making me your child. In Jesus’ name I ask. Amen.

This prayer is the beginning of your journey to walk away from sin and living a life of obedience to God's will. You need to continue in prayer and daily Bible reading and letting the word of God speak to you so that you can grow in your relationship with your Creator and Saviour.
